Ms. Vivian Mestre

Ms. Vivian is from Miami, Florida. The family moved to The Triad area over 20 years ago. She’s married and has a daughter. Ms. Vivian graduated from The Miami Dade County School of Insurance obtaining both Property-Casualty and Life Insurance licenses. For over 25 years she was the Executive Director, for Demolina & Associates a local insurance company in Miami. After moving to North Carolina, she found a passion for working with children. She taught Spanish at the Oakridge Military Academy, grades 7-12. She worked as an EC teacher assistant at Irving Park Elementary and for the past 5 years has been the Lead Teacher at OPX a non-profit afterschool program serving both Guilford and Rockingham Counties teaching and tutoring students grades K-5 in Spanish, Art, SEL, Reading and Math. A Motivational Speaker, she is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. She is a dedicated servant leader, empowering others and fostering collaboration within her community. Ms. Vivian’s dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she is deeply committed to social and community service. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and believes in the importance of positive relationships. She advocates for the building of strong connections between parents, teachers, and students, recognizing that these relationships are crucial for the development of all her students.
